51 arrested by Vosloorus SAPS

“I would also like to thank the members of the community for working hand-in-hand with the police in the fight to make Vosloorus township a crime-free zone,” said Rossouw.

Vosloorus SAPS made 51 arrests between January 14 and 20.

This was confirmed by Vosloorus SAPS communications officer Capt Piet Rossouw. He said some of the suspects were arrested, among others, for the following crimes:

• House robbery – one

• Assault common (domestic violence related) – one

• Fraud – one

• House break-in and theft – one

• Rape – one

• Possession of stolen property – three

• Business robbery – two

• Intimidation – one

• Intimidation and assault common – one.

Rossouw thanked the men and women in blue from the station for their undying commitment in the fight against crime.
