She wrote her matric last year, got six distinctions and missed to ace the seventh subject by a whisker of only four per cent.
Thuse’s results are as follow: SeSotho 83 per cent, English first additional language 80 per cent, maths 86 per cent, life orientation 84 per cent, life science 71 per cent, accounting 87 per cent and physical science 92 per cent.

Headmaster Madoda Madi described Thuse as wonderful, down-to-earth, respectful, focused, determined and committed to her education.
“She has all the qualities to succeed in life,” said Madi.
Explaining her recipe for success a hardworking, Thuse said she put more hours in her school work.
“Having a relationship with God made things easy for me at school because it made me learn to be humble and respect all other learners equally,” said Thuse.
She said helping other learners also helped her a lot to achieve what she achieved because it made her learnt where she was lacking as an individual.

“I would like to advise other learners to do as I did – work hard and respect their teacher,” she said.
Thuse wants to further her education by doing a Bachelor of Accounting at the University of Johannesburg.
“I want to study towards becoming a chartered accountant. I have already registered, but I would like to get all the help I need because I don’t know where I might need help along the way,” Thuse told Kathorus MAIL.
