Business seminars to continue next year

Startup Grind Tembisa chapter will help small businesses partner with big corporates in 2019.

Startup Grind Tembisa chapter presented its last business seminar for 2018 at the Yes4Youth Hub on Thursday night.

Startup Grind business seminars are staged on the last Thursday of each month.

Director of the local chapter, Lerato Molongwana, said she was grateful for the opportunity to set up the Tembisa chapter of Startup Grind in 2018 and that it helped her grow as an entrepreneur in her own right.

“We have grown as a chapter and as a community trying to connect, educate and inspire Tembisa entrepreneurs.

“Today we had two young female entrepreneurs who are doing disruption in the business space,” said Molongwana.

“We are coming back in 2019 and we will be hosting 12 events, one event each month, with even bigger speakers.

“We are looking to partner with bigger companies to make even more of an impact in business ventures of the local entrepreneurs in Tembisa,” said Molongwana.

Next year Startup Grind Tembisa chapter will resume its business seminars on January 31 at Yes4Youth Hub in Makhulong Section.
