Fake inspectors bully spaza shop owners

The executive mayor of Ekurhuleni, councillor Mzwandile Masina, condemned the actions of bogus environmental health inspectors who pretend to be employees of the City and go around illegally raiding spaza shops.

Masina reiterated that the metro’s environmental health practitioners would never steal from residents. Genuine environmental health practitioners from the City of Ekurhuleni are issued with identity cards that bear their photos and the telephone number of the office from which they come.
