EMPD track down three stolen sedans

EMPD recovered two Toyota Etios cars in Katlehong and one Toyota Tazz in Vosloorus.

EMPD Public Order Policing Task Team recovered three sedans over the period of November 19 to November 22.

The recoveries were made with tracking coordinates provided by vehicle tracking companies.

Vehicles recovered were a silver-grey Toyota Etios, a white Toyota Tazz and a red Toyota Etios stolen this month in Alberton, Brakpan and Benoni respectively. All three recovered vehicles were found abandoned.

The silver-grey Toyota Etios stolen in Alberton was recovered on Makuba Street in the Shongweni Section of Katlehong. The white Toyota Tazz stolen in Brakpan was recovered at the intersection of Sefofo and Uphondo Streets in Vosloorus. The red Toyota Etios stolen in Benoni was recovered in the Nhlapo Section of Katlehong.

Recovered vehicles were towed to the SAPS Van Ryn Deep pound in Benoni for safekeeping and further investigations.
