Vosloorus SAPS made 51 arrests during the week of October 22 to October 28.
The suspects were arrested for various crimes, including:
• Kidnapping and assault: 2
• Assault common related to domestic violence (DV): 22
• Malicious damage to property: 2
• Pointing of firearm: 1
• House break-in and theft: 1
• Theft: 4
• Assault grievous bodily harm (GBH): 5
• Shoplifting: 4
• Assault and intimidation: 1
• Intimidation and crimen injuria: 1
• Malicious damage to property and intimidation: 1
• Theft and defeating the ends of justice: 1
• Driving under the influence: 1
• Attempted robbery: 1
• Possession of unlicensed firearm: 1
• Resisting arrest: 1
• Court order: 2
Vosloorus Police Station communications official Capt Piet Rossouw said all suspects appeared in the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court.
