Bringing hope this festive season

Help Team Hope SA make the festive season special for children with disabilities.

Team Hope SA, which was established in November 2012, will be hosting its seventh annual Christmas party for all the charity homes it supports.

Some of the home’s invited to join in the fun include Rekopane Inclusive Development Centre, Remme-Los and Dolphin House, Manger Care Centre, Parker Harriers, Ithembelihle Lsen School, as well as a number of private homes in the area.

This year’s Christmas party will once again be held at Ithembelihle Lsen School, located on the corner of Cypress and Elm roads, Primrose East, on November 24 and will run from 7.30am until 3pm.

“We have a large number of children attending the event and we will need all the help we can get,” said event organiser Arveen Singh.

The day has a fun-filled line-up with musicians, jumping castles, clowns, face painting, football freestylers and lots more.

“Santa Claus will even be on hand to deliver gifts to the children,” added Singh.

The community and businesses are urged to volunteer their time to the project.

“All we ask is that you wear a red T-shirt, be at the venue at 7am to help set up and decorate, and shower our special guests with love and attention.

“Every smile counts, and you can make a difference in the lives of these children by just sharing your time and love,” encouraged Singh.
