Support the Germiston SPCA and care for animals

There are a number of ways you can help the Germiston SPCA.

The Germiston SPCA is always in need of funds to make sure animals in need are cared for.

The animals have many needs which staff have to take care of.

The SPCA has a number of ways the community can assist them to raise funds to make sure animals are looked after properly.

• Kennel sponsorship: This can be private or in a corporate capacity at R300 per month or R3 000 annually.

• Food donations: Either monthly (one animal costs R150; two animals costs R300 or three animals costs R450 per month) or as a once-off donation. Any amount donated for food would be appreciated.

• Community members can also join the My School, My Village, My Planet campaign run by Woolworths where a percentage of your spend is donated to the charity of your choice with no extra cost to the cardholder.

Meet the dedicated Germiston SPCA team

As the Germiston SPCA covers a vast area, which includes small holdings and farms, there is always the possibility that large animals, like horses and donkeys, may need to be brought to the SPCA’s kennels.

To accommodate these animals, as well as the SPCA’s latest addition, Bacon the pig, a stable needs to be built at the kennels.

The SPCA needs donations in the form of building materials or money to build the stable.

For more information or to make a donation contact the Germiston SPCA on 011 825 5033.
