Five things you need to know about DJ Vetkuk VS Mahoota’s album, Local Everywhere
The legendary Vetkuk and Mahoota have, after five years, finally released their new album, Local Everywhere.
Vetkuk VS Mahoota, who are well-known for hits like Putuko and Phul’iqolo, have managed to top the charts with their new singles, Hero ft. Lady Zamar and Dance Floor ft. Professor, DJ Tira, Character and Pex Africah, which were released late last year and appear on the album Local Everywhere.

Here are five things you need to know about the duo’s new album:
• Local Everywhere is a double disc album. When you buy the album you can expect to get not just one album but two CD’s full of bangers to last you another decade. There are eleven songs on each album, with twenty-two songs altogether (perhaps we can forgive them for taking this long in releasing an album).
• There were over 500 songs recorded by the duo in the last five years and only twenty two made the cut on Local Everywhere.
• Some of the international artists featured on the album include Runtown from Nigeria and Afro Warriors from Angola.
• BET award-winner Sjava ATM released the album Umpako on July 6, 2018. Sjava ATM features on Local Everywhere, which was also launched on July 6, 2018.
• The album was titled Local Everywhere because the duo wants to reach and dominate every corner in Africa.
