Siyabulela Deli (also known as TaFie 21) and Fash Ngobese (also known as Bergie Fash), two famous and well-known comedians and actors, recently teamed together and used social media to open a discussion about the challenges and issues young people are going through. The aim of this campaign was to seek ways and methods to help those who are feeling depressed or overwhelmed by the pressures of life.

The campaign was officially launched on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, with the hashtag #DepressedButNotDefeated taking Twitter by storm. Many young people came forward and used the hashtag as a platform to tell their stories. The campaign received over 8000 tweets and trended for two consecutive days on Twitter, with young people taking advantage of this hashtag to share their stories about living with depression.
