The purpose of the event was to share ideas on how to fight poverty in the community.
Ideas included taking part in mining, owning malls, accessing unlimited data sim cards to save money on expensive airtime and data, and trading with Bitcoin.
A cheap medical aid scheme that gives poor people access to private hospital care was introduced to the community.
One of the GETC leaders, Inkosi Mluleki Jali from Vosloorus, said they want people to know that GETC leaders care about them.
“People must know that God did not create Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi or Sotho speaking people but he created His people to be the same and equal. So this development we are bringing to the people is not only for a particular race but for everyone who is and who wants to be a member of the GETC,” said Jali.
Inkosi Jali said the people they have invited have conducted the research from large countries overseas and found out that poor people can have access to unlimited airtime and data sim cards.
“They can make unlimited calls and use unlimited data per month on the internet at the fixed costs of R300 per month.
“People can also make a lot of money – approximately $50 per day trading with Bitcoin and not lose a cent. There are people who have traveled the world to conduct the research and came back with the application that you download on your cellphone. After downloading that application you can make a lot of money by just clicking the button. Those people can trade for you. It is the first thing that will be introduced by GETC to its community members just because GETC cares about the wellbeing of the community,” said Jali.
He said people can have access to all the above-mentioned but they must join and be legal members of the GETC. “A membership card is available at only R50 per person,” he said.
Nkosi Ndabezitha Mahlangu from Villa Lisa to Boksburg went on to mention how easy is going to be to have access to the land to the members of the GETC.
“To those who would like to own the malls they must not worry as to how to have access to the lands as the kingship are the legal beneficiaries of the lands that the municipality claimed to be the legal owners of,” said Mahlangu.
He added that they have documents that prove they are the legal owners of the lands.

He concluded by pleading with the NPO leader who attended the event to spread the word to the people their organisations serve and also invite them to the next event where a way forward regarding the developments will be discussed in detail.
