Bertha Mahlatje from Tshabalala Primary School said learners made the school proud.

“This was one of the toughest competitions we have ever participated in, but our children excelled and I am proud of them.

“I would like to thank my colleagues for their support. This would not have been possible without them,” said Mahlatje.

Neo Mhlanga and Lerato Lubane who are both in Grade Five achieved first and third place, while Buhle Letshulo and Thembelihle Zondi (both in Grade Seven) were also placed first and third.
