Ward 59 prepares for by-elections

A vacancy has arisen in Ward 59 due to the death of ward councillor Teboho Maama. By-elections will take place fill his post.

Prior to the by-elections, the following activities will take place:

Fieldworkers will be going door-to-door to inform voters about the upcoming elections and to register voters.

All voting stations in Ward 59 will be open from 8am to 5pm. Voters can visit the stations to register to vote or update their addresses on the voters’ roll.

The voting stations are:

* Ponego Secondary School

* Hleziphi School

* Hostel Offices

* God’s Will Mission Ministries

Special votes will be on November 14 from 8am to 5pm. Applications for special votes will open on October 30 and close on November 3. Only approved applicants will be allowed to vote on the special-votes day.
