2017 SA Marriage Week: Yes, your marriage matters!
“Your marriage matters” is the theme of SA Marriage Week 2017, which takes place from September 1 to 7.
So many people lose their faith in marriage as an institution and the question on the lips of many youths today is: “Is it worth getting married?”
This campaign confirms that marriage is indeed worth it.
“The purpose of SA Marriage Week 2017 is to sow the maximum amount of good seed in marriages,” says Liezel van der Merwe, editor of INTIEM magazine and founder of SA Marriage Week.
“We want to encourage the restoration of marriages and remind couples that what you sow, you will reap – also in your marriage.”
SA Marriage Week is an initiative that was launched in South Africa by INTIEM magazine and is part of International Marriage Week, that is celebrated worldwide every year.
Various South African celebrities act as ambassadors for this campaign and the theme will be discussed across South Africa on radio and television during the duration of the campaign.

Every married couple in South Africa is invited to take part in this initiative with a two-part action: “Do something and give something”.
