Career and entertainment classes on offer
A NPO called Ubuhle Bethokoza Jiva Club Academy, based in Thokoza, is offering dance, sport, career and entertainment classes for young adults living in and around Ekurhuleni.
Modelling, dance, music, acting, DJ and creative writing classes are offered at the academy.
Thulani Zwane , the managing director (MD) of the academy, said even though they have more than 30 artists already, they still want more artists to come and join the company. Zwane said they recruit, train, manage, develop and groom the youth ‘from scratch’ until they become professionals in their fields.

Zwane said he would really appreciate big companies coming on board to assist the academy.
“Currently we are lacking equipment such as marimbas, Dj equipment and drums,” Zwane explained.
