According to Katlehong SAPS media spokesperson, Capt Mega Ndobe, the police reacted to a call from a 43-year-old woman who reported that she had arrived home and found her 27-year-old brother together with her elderly parents (aged 62 and 63), lying in a pool of blood.
All three victims had sustained bullet wounds. Ndobe told Kathorus MAIl that it was unclear as to how, why and by whom the three family members were killed.
“A firearm believed to be belonging to the 63-year-old deceased man was found next to the bodies.”
Capt Ndobe said the police are probing a case of murder and it was still too early to speculate about details leading to the incident.
