Potholes, potholes and more potholes
For over two years, most of the potholes have not been repaired in Eden Park and Palmridge. These potholes were reported to the department on a weekly basis, but nothing has been done.
How long is it going to take to repair these potholes? The contractors were there at the beginning of the year and all they did was fill these potholes with scrap tar. When it rained, all these potholes opened up again. Also, when the contractors from the electricity department dug up the streets to lay cables, they did not fix the roads again.
As a PR Councillor for the Democratic Alliance I have been dealing with all service delivery issues that I receive from the public, where is the ward councillor?
Are the potholes going to be fixed a few months before the elections? This is unacceptable as the residents pay for these services so that they can get better and quick service delivery from the metro.
