Ekurhuleni women join hands in prayer

The woman from different churches have gathered in Germiston for prayer.

GERMISTON – As the country commemorates Women’s Month this August as a tribute to the more than 20 000 women who partook in the anti-pass march to the Union Buildings on August 9 1956, the City Of Ekurhuleni is hosting a multi-faith Women’s Prayer session.

In the same spirit of transformation which the women of ’56 stood for, the prayer session convenes under the theme ‘Reclaim Ubuntu’.
