TEMBISA – Taxi violence at Sangweni Rank in Tembisa this morning claimed one person’s life. An eye witness told Tembisan one female passenger was shot dead.
The rank is currently closed.
According to an eye witness who spoke to The Tembisan, “All taxis are loading outside the rank. The police officers and forensics teams are all over the scene.”
In a report compiled by News24, Major Mack Mngomezulu was quoted as saying, “According to information, there was a shooting at the taxi rank where three people were shot.”
“One died on the scene and the other two were rushed to hospital.”
All three were passengers on one of the taxis.
