According to reports, a 17-year-old male was shot dead by a shop owner in Thokoza on Thursday 23 July. The shop owner is believed to be a foreign national.
Reports suggest that the shop owner shot the teen in response to an attack by a group of learners on his property.
According to police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Katlego Mogale, the teenager was declared on arrival at a nearby clinic.
