Learnership programme for the unemployed

If you are unemployed and interested in joining the security industry then this might just be the opportunity you were waiting for.

ALBERTON – The management and owners of Goodwill Protection Services are offering 10 unemployed and unskilled people a 12 month learnership programme in the security industry.

The course on offer will qualify the candidate as a:

1. Security officer – SAQA – SASSETA – skills level one to three.

2. Security Officer – SAQA – SASSETA – armed response officer.

3. Security Officer – firearm competency and PFTC accredited for handgun and shotgun – business purposes.

Qualification to participate requirement:

Candidates must currently be unemployed; candidates must never have worked in the security industry; candidates must be South African citizens; candidates must be 21 years or older (male or female); and candidates must bee able to reach the training centre in Johannesburg to attend classes.

Goodwill Protection Services will be employing some of the candidates, after the successful completion of the course, at their armed response division known as Tactical Strike Force (TSF).
