The award ceremony was held at City of Mercy Church (CMC), Moshoeshoe Section, Katlehong North, on October 26, where police within the district were honoured for their hard work, dedication and various roles they play in their communities.
Kathorus was well represented at the awards as three stations shined their light during the awards ceremony.
Vosloorus SAPS scooped the admin support employee of the year represented by Lieutenant Colonel Mosima Manganyi.
Tokoza appeared in three different categories, including admin support employee of the year represented by GR Mabe, VISPOL employee of the year represented by Lieutenant Colonel WB Dube and detective employee of the year represented by Captain A Simelane.
Zonkizizwe’s data typist Rose Ramphele represented Zonkizizwe SAPS as the admin employee of the year where he achieved second place.
