Vosloorus Old Age Home alleged theft case postponed to October 7

Mathenjwa is expected to appear at Mathenjwa at Vosloorus Magistrate's Court, on October 7, 2022.

The alleged theft case against the suspended manager of Vosloorus Old Age Home (VOAH) Sechaba Mathenjwa has been postponed to October 7, for further investigation.

This follows his brief appearance at Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court on August 7.

He was arrested on May 31 on charges of theft and appeared at Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court, on June 2, where he was granted an R1000 bail.

According to Constable Numpumelelo Nhlapho, the spokesperson for the Vosloorus SAPS, charges of theft against Mathenjwa were laid with police at the Vosloorus SAPS by the employees at the facility.

Nhlapho said it is alleged salaries of the workers were transferred into his account.
