Ekurhuleni warns load-shedding might lead to delays in restoration of power
Eskom announced that stage four load-shedding will apply from 09:00 on March 9 until 05:00 on March 11, after which stage two will apply until March 14.
The City of Ekurhuleni has informed residents it will comply with this directive and follow the existing load-shedding schedule available on the City’s website.
“Customers need to take note the City’s technicians will be under severe pressure to switch on and off multiple circuits every two hours,” said Zweli Dlamini, spokesperson for Ekurhuleni.

“As such, under these difficult constraints, individual customer queries may not be prioritised until the grid is stable.”
The City warned residents they may expect delays in power being restored due to the rain.
