School learners allegedly attacked by evil forces

While the pastors were praying, at least three learners started screaming and falling to the ground.

Thutopele Secondary School invited local pastors to pray for learners at the school on February 16 after evil spirits allegedly attacked the learners at the school premises.

According to the school principal, Sengi Kubkeka, this started two weeks ago on a small scale when several learners complained about health challenges.

He said it became clear that there was a problem on February 14, when Grade 12 learners started screaming, crawling and shaking on the floor.

Past Khabo Nyikiza of Revival Worship Church visited the school on February 16 to support the school with a prayer session during their morning assembly.

While the pastors were praying, at least three learners started screaming and falling to the ground.

Nyikiza said they will continue to support the school. They have arranged to host a mentorship session at Revival Worship Church, which is near the school.

Local pastors pray for learners who were attacked by evil forces.

He explained that the school is attacked by different evil forces that are fighting for territory at the school. “This is not the first time something like this happens at schools,” he added.

“We will visit the school weekly to pray on dates recommended by the principal. We have to pray for the school until these dark forces leave,” said Nyikiza.

He said they are open to visiting the families of affected children to pray at their homes.

Kubkeka said this challenge will not affect the learners’ progress, especially the Grade 12 learners who spend most of their time at school from morning to 16:00.
