Vosloorus SAPS supports health and wellness for officers

“It was noticeable that everyone enjoyed the day due to the laughter and jokes about their experiences,”

Members of the Vosloorus SAPS went for a 10km hike nearby Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve as part of supporting the health, wellness and team building for police officers on November 17.

Capt Kholeka Yawa of the employee health and wellness department took the initiative to arrange an unforgettable day where all participants could relax from the daily workload stress.

According to Capt Piet Rossouw, station commander Brig Themba Denge proved to all present that he can also play a vital role in the healthcare of his subordinates.

He said Denge was impressed with the number of participants and the level of fitness.

“It was noticeable that everyone enjoyed the day due to the laughter and jokes about their experiences,” said Rossouw.

The windy and very hot day was ended with well-deserved cooldrinks and food.
