The 2.0 turbocharged engine produces 180kW and 370Nm which, for the serious driver of cars, will take you from 0-100km/h in 6,4 seconds. The new GTI will be available from September onwards at a cost of R669 300. This will include a three-year/120 000km warranty, five-year/90 000km EasyDrive Service Plan and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty. Service intervals are 15 000km. Source: MotorPress
