Thelle Mogoerane Hospital needs help with unclaimed bodies
“We appeal to members of the public to help the hospital trace relatives of the following deceased people in an effort to avoid them being buried as paupers.
Management at the Thelle Mogoerane Hospital in Vosloorus is appealing to communities around Kathorus to assist them trace the relatives or families of the deceased whose bodies remain unclaimed at the hospital’s mortuary facility.
“We appeal to members of the public to help the hospital trace relatives of the following deceased people in an effort to avoid them being buried as paupers.
“A public announcement in the local paper is often the hospital’s final appeal to the next-of-kin of the deceased person to come forward,” said Joseph Monahen.
