#HelpThyNeighbour team back in action

"It is humbling that our community has united to support such a worthy cause during these uncertain times."

During these unprecedented times, give 67 minutes of hope and kindness to those in need.

The #HelpThyNeighbour team (Mall of the South, Howden, Pam Golding Properties Alberton, South of Johannesburg Business, and Tourism) are back to collect non-perishable goods, such as food, toiletries and cleaning materials for St Mary’s Children’s Home, Bellavista Crèche, Swinburn Home for the Elderly and Meals on Wheels.

This year, Rebaone Peters, a 24-year-old student, has joined the #HelpThyNeighbour team with her blanket drive.
This is to give back to J29 Community Care Centre that cares for 80 households in Katlehong.

These families are granny and children led, where most of the children are orphans.

Rebaone would like to make a meaningful contribution to her community by collecting blankets and food essentials for the centre.

The #HelpThyNeighbour team will be collecting the donated items until July 31.

A donation box has been placed at Mall of the South level 0, near entrance 2.

Mall of the South general manager Hester Smith said, “It is humbling that our community has united to support such a worthy cause during these uncertain times.”
