Boksburg, Reiger Park police stations reopen after Covid-19-related closures
The police stations were temporarily closed and have undergone the decontamination process after officers based at the stations tested positive for Covid-19
Management at Boksburg and Reiger Park Police Stations would like to inform all communities serviced by the stations in question that their facilities are operational again, after the Covid-19-related closures.
Both police stations confirmed that their facilities were up and running again as from July 7 after closing last week due to a Covid-19 scare.
The stations’ buildings were decontaminated and police officers who came into contact with the affected members were directed to undergo testing as a precaution.
The affected members had received their results last week and immediately informed their commanders, who then temporarily closed the facility as precautionary measures.
