Katlehong SAPS investigating murder case

Katlehong SAPS is investigating a case of murder that occurred on November 15 at Silumaview in Katlehong.

Capt Mega Ndobe, communications official at Katlehong SAPS, said investigations have revealed that a 59-year-old man had an argument with his wife (51).

“It is alleged that the woman refused to prepare food for her husband, who was about to take his medication. An argument ensued.

“It is alleged the man took out his licensed firearm and shot his wife in the upper body.

“She was certified dead on the scene.

“No one else was in the house apart from the two of them.

“The suspect (husband) handed himself over to the police.

“He was arrested immediately and is expected to appear in court soon to face a charge of murder,” said Ndobe.

The investigation continues.
