Katlehong SAPS visits St John’s Church

Katlehong SAPS visited St John’s Church at Zuma Section in Katlehong on Sunday, April 30.

The team was led by Katlehong SAPS station commander, Brig Phumla Mdlankomo.

Col Phakama Gxaza of Crime Prevention and Client Service Centre was also present.

They were accompanied by CPF members, patrollers and sector managers.

Communications official at Katlehong Police Station, Cap Mega Ndobe, said the purpose of the visit was to encourage churches to be part of the fight against crime.

“This is one of the projects whereby the station commander is engaging churches to be part of fight against crime. This project will extend to the local churches around Katlehong,” said Ndobe.

Ndobe said Mdlankomo was also urging the public to report any criminal or corrupt activities carried out by the Katlehong SAPS members.
