Officers from the Katlehong police’s Crime Prevention Unit took to the streets last Monday in a crime prevention stop-and-search operation.
The operation led to the arrest of three suspects.
The suspects were charged with malicious damage to property, contempt of court and shoplifting.

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
Katlehong SAPS acting station commander leaderma Gcaza encouraged the community to work hand in hand with the police to eradicate crime in the area.
