Carnival City’s Big Top Arena is set to erupt with what promises to be an outrageous and flamboyant party.

For the first time, some of South Africa’s best loved artists will collaborate with death-defying stuntmen and speciality circus acts from around the world to present, Dis ‘n Sirkus – a show created especially for Carnival City in celebration of its 20th birthday.

Adam Tas.

The action unravels in spectacular fashion from September 6 to 8.

Taking to the stage for Dis ‘n Sirkus are Willem Botha, Kurt Darren, Leah, Adam Tas, Lianie May, Lloyd Cele, Nadine, Die Campbells, Jay, Gerhard Steyn Refentse and Demi Lee Moore.

Dreams of Fire – of Queens and Dragons.

Each artist’s performance will be combined with a spectacular circus act or awe-inspiring stunts.

In true carnival style, there will be aerial stunts, fire acts, roaming clowns and stilt walkers, a carousel, face painters and candy floss.

Kurt Darren.

“Imagine dancing to Kurt Darren’s ‘Kaptein’ while trapeze artists fly at heart stopping heights above your head or tapping your feet to Jay, Gerhard Steyn and Adam Tas while the death defying motorcyclists risk life and limb to entertain you in the Globe of Death.

“Watch as some of South Africa’s best love artists and your ringmaster Willem Botha team up with the most amazing circus acts and performers to bring you a one of a kind experience,” says Michelle Smith, Carnival City marketing manager.
