EMPD officers pounced on two alleged drug dealers after receiving a tip-off from the community.
A 30-year-old woman and 35-year-old man were arrested on charges of dealing in drugs and possession of drugs after officers visited their Katlehong North home in the early hours of last Thursday morning.

During a search of the premises, police found nyaope wrapped in white plastic bags with an estimated street value of R2 600 and R650 in cash.
The pair were taken to the Katlehong North Police Station and will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
Katlehong North SAPS station commander Col Reginah Rampota thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
