Officers from Ekurhuleni Flying Squad (Germiston) arrested a man on a charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, last Friday.
Const Luyanda Mkhonkothi received a tip-off that a white Toyota Conquest that had been stolen in the early hours of the morning was being stripped at a panel beating business in Mofokeng Section, Katlehong.
Mkhonkothi responded to the given address and upon his arrival found a 25-year-old man inside the panel beaters busy with the car that fitted the description of the vehicle given to him.

It is alleged the vehicle had been stolen in Orange Farm at 4am.
A case of possession of a stolen motor vehicle was opened and the motor vehicle was taken to the SAPS Van Ryn pound in Benoni.
Const Ntombikayise Ngcobo thanked the community for the tip-off which led to the man’s arrest.
