True United Church needs donations

Since the founding Pastor died, the church is requested to vacate the shack and need help to build a new one.

PALMRIDGE – The small congregation of the True United Christ Church is in need of building material to build a new place of worship.

The True United Christ Church has been in existence for over 40 years and has long operated from a shack in Palmridge Extension Seven, but after the passing of their founder, bishop PS Radebe, the congregation was requested to vacate their holy shack in Mbuluzi Street.

The congregation has found an area to build a larger place of worship.

“We have the manpower for the labour. All we need is for people to donate old building material they no longer use so that we can build another church for the members and especially the children,” said Katlego Sethunya, a member of the church.

“This church is very old but unfortunately we do not own the premises so we have to vacate the shack.

“All we need is for people to donate old chairs, tables, wood, corrugated iron, nails and other material we might need for the church.

“We would appreciate any help from people or organisations wishing to help,” said pastor Dumsani Mathintela.

People or organisations wishing to help can contact Mathintela on 079 0499 512, Sethunya on 073 282 1917 or pastor Ladies Kaholong on 078 2928 990.
