Cooking lessons continues at Katlehong Art Centre

The lessons started on September 11 and will continue for the whole month.

Charmaine Kruger, the project community director, said they are conducting the second free workshop.

“We now have two workshops per day. The first one starts at 9.30am till 12.30pm and the second one starts at 1pm till 4pm,” said Kruger.

She said they are also doing music lessons and trumpet training.

“Keketso Primary School is doing those lessons,” said Kruger.

She said they are also running the Mini Market Day Project at Sontonga Mall.

“With the Mini Market Day Project, we will be trying to get support for the ladies from the community.

“It is a continuous growth plan for the ladies to generate an income. The ladies that take part in the Mini Market are our beneficiaries of the cooking and baking workshop,” said Kruger.

Kruger said community members who are willing to attend their free cooking classes are welcome.
