Westville Girls’ High School – pursuing excellence

“One of the cornerstones of our school has always been the pursuit of excellence, and we will never relent in that pursuit. One of our pillars we stand on as a school is the phrase Dignity in Diversity meaning that we embrace all cultures, all races and we’ve always done so since we were able to.

It is about making sure that those girls that come to the school, we grow in them a sense of belonging and a sense of worth. That is why our second pillar, A School with A Soul, is equally important.

It’s extremely satisfying to begin that journey with the young people that start in Grade 8, to see how across the years they grow. How their confidence develops, and how their capacity to manage themselves develops. I don’t think I will ever get tired of seeing it.” – Principal Russell Untiedt.
