Goo Goo Dolls to tour SA!
Iconic Rock Legends to ignite summer in Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria with their unforgettable smash hits.
THE multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band, Goo Goo Dolls, is thrilled to announce their tour to South Africa this December. Known for chart-topping hits like Iris, Slide, Here is Gone, and Name, their music has moved generations, solidifying them as one of rock music’s most beloved and enduring bands.
The tour kicks off at Cape Town’s Kirstenbosch Gardens on December 4, followed by a concert at Durban’s prestigious ICC Durban on December 5. The tour culminates in a monumental finale at Pretoria’s historic Voortrekker Monument on December 7.
“We’re so proud to finally be able to announce our South African tour” said frontman John Rzeznik. “It’s going to be three amazing nights of great music for everyone, so be there!”
Following the Cape Town leg of the tour – which will feature special guests and homegrown talent, Just Jinjer – the band will make their way to the vibrant city of Durban, where they will take the stage at the prestigious ICC Durban. The Durban show will feature singer-songwriter Roan Ash.
The tour will culminate in a grand finale in Pretoria and will feature performances by Roan Ash, Ross Learmonth and Matthew Mole.
Tickets for all the Goo Goo Dolls concerts will be available Thursday, June 27, at 09:00 at Webtickets.
