Weiner and Dlangamandla will share a few behind-the-scenes stories of their experiences while interviewing and photographing the whistleblowers who played a pivotal role in bringing both government and business wrongdoing to light in South Africa.

“It made me really consider what happens to whistleblowers in South Africa, their plight, the value that we don’t give to whistleblowers. I thought, instead of writing a book about one whistleblower, I’d write a book on a cross-section of whistleblowers in South Africa,” said Weiner on the reason she chose to write the book.
