Rock on Rococo tells tales of second chances

Rock on Rococo is the brainchild of FIREWORX and is inspired by The Open Door Crisis Care Centre's monarch butterfly emblem which symbolises the emergence of real-life victims of abuse from their dark pasts.

FIREWORX presents Rock on Rococo stories inspired by the work done by the Open Door Crisis Care Centre.

The stories of second chances and everyday heroes promise to captivate the audience with a mesmerising afternoon and evening of magic and music, pivoting around the spell-binding contributions of the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra.

East Coast Radio’s Keri Miller will be the MC and the entertainment includes a fashion show, hilarious acts by On Fire Comedy, live music and lithe dancers, plus delicious French fare and a celebratory party.

FIREWORX is a team of professional, creatively dynamic and highly driven individuals, who together, feel they have the power to uplift, empower and inspire those in need. Their aim is to obtain sponsorships or donations to cover the costs of the events, ensuring they are able to donate the majority of the funds raised.

The Open Door offers a holistic, multi-faceted, one-stop crisis and trauma centre where counselling, social services and support groups can all be accessed.

The event will take place at Virginia Airport, Hanger 8 on Saturday, 3 August from 4pm till late.

Tickets cost R350 per person, book through the Open Door Crisis Care Centre.
