Rocking festival line-up announced for this year’s Ballito Pro

This concert forms part of the ongoing beach-side Ballito Pro presented by O’Neill festival programme that is running at KwaDukuza from 27 June to 7 July.

South African music’s finest acts will be entertaining audiences in Salt Rock Main Beach this winter when the Ballito Pro 2019 Free Music Concerts, powered by 5FM, kicks off on Thursday, 4 and Friday, 5 July from 4pm.

This concert forms part of the ongoing beach-side Ballito Pro presented by O’Neill festival programme that is running at KwaDukuza from 27 June to 7 July.

Two exciting nights awaits Ballito Pro concert goers!

On Friday night, Hillcrest native, Msizi James, who’s the co-host on 5fm’s drive-time show, will be flexing his deep-house mixing skills along with his colleague on 5fm, Kyle Cassim.

Other headliners on Friday night include – Indie-rock band, Desmond and the Tutus, The Parlotones along with, Nu Level, Ronel Ree, Freddy L and Zamar.

A blockbuster Thursday evening will feature, iconic Gqom duo, Distruction Boyz. Award winning vocalist, Lady Zamar, Johannesburg’s DJ Lloyd, 5fm’s Ryan the DJ, rapper Smizzy, Urban Centurion and Funky Finest.

Also on the cards will be Crush Ballito’s After Dark Parties that will be happening on 10 consecutive nights during the Ballito Pro.

The show will kick off on Friday, 28 June with the Ballito Pro Warm-up Party, continuing with a series of competitions, takeovers, big bashes and jam sessions.
