Durban dancers shake it up for charity

There are two exciting shows that will be hosted in Kloof to help raise funds for the Ingane Yami Children's Village.

TEN dance studios from across Durban will collaborate and use their love of dance to make a difference in the lives of the children at Ingane Yami Children’s Village on Saturday, 8 June at the Open Skies Church in Kloof.

The exciting performances in the line-up include ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, Irish and Spanish dancing as well as a special performance by the children from Ingane Yami.

The doors at the venue, 14 Lyngarth Road, will open at 5.30pm as food will be on sale. The show will start promptly at 6.30pm.

On Wednesday, 22 May, the community supported the Two Schools, One Heart event at St Mary’s DSG from 5.30pm.

Two of South Africa’s premiere music departments, St Mary’s DSG and Hilton College, joined forces to raise funds and awareness for Ingane Yami Children’s Village.
