IN the book, Full Disclosure, controversial stripper, pornographic actress and director, Stormy Daniels gives her side of the story.
While she reached a certain amount of fame for her work in the porn industry, what catapulted her slap-bang into the limelight, was the lawsuit she filed against President Donald Trump over a non-disclosure agreement negotiated before the election, but one that was never signed.

I found her story overcoming a rather difficult childhood where poverty and abuse prevailed to becoming a leading actress and director in the adult film business quite interesting.

We get to know and like the girl who loved horses and reading, and despite the odds, did really well at school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she grew up.

Overcoming the squalor and fending for herself developed her tough side. She reached her teens and began stripping and moved on to porn where she did well performing, writing and directing.

Although her birth name was Stephanie Clifford – “I couldn’t rule the world with a name like that” – she changed it to Stormy.
Then she gets to the crucial-for-some part where she met Donald Trump who fancied her enough to invite her back to his hotel room where much that took place was more of a bland, non-event.

She discovered him to be a self-centred, verbose bore, however found herself in a compromised position where she did the dastardly deed, and left.

The scandal of that night that ensued after Trump became president was dramatic and laughable, except that the threats were real as were the demands that she sign non-disclosure agreements.

She took on the president and experienced hatred by some, but was held up as a beacon of hope by others, and became an object of fascination to many.

The story behind the story is often the most compelling.

But the story has not ended 
The legal problems with President Trump continue. In a recent report, The Daily Maverick reported that, “President Donald Trump is eager to force Stormy Daniels to pay twice for her failed lawsuit. The adult movie star could be on the hook for $778,806 after Trump requested that his lawyer’s fees be doubled to deter future frivolous lawsuits.”
