Enjoy a cosy night out in Hammarsdale

Matabola's band featuring seasoned players Sanele Phakathi on keys, Dalisu Ndlazi on bass guitar and Sbu Zondi on drums.

A FUSION of South African and American jazz is provided by a talented Pretoria artist.

In association with Concerts SA and Seaman’s Corner, iSupport Music Business brings jazz vocalist Josie Matabola and her band to Hammarsdale, at Seaman’s Corner on Saturday, 26 January.

Blooming artist, Josie Matabola, is a deep-rooted rising jazz vocalist from Pretoria, with an alternatively defined sound to her music. She acquired her expertise at MC Art at The South African State Theatre and later moved to Vusi Mahlasela Music Academy. She is currently studying Jazz at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Matabola’s project consists of rhythm section and voice to create an evocative sound, and is a collection of original and inspirational songs in Tswana, isiZulu south African languages- and also covers of some of her favourite artists.

This concert is part of the Concerts SA Venue Circuit that aims to foster a love and support for live music in our communities, as well as anchor small and medium-sized venues in urban and rural Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Western Cape.
Tickets are R30 at the door and doors open at 7pm.
