Watercrest art show promises visual splendour
The Highway Art Group's members are excited to showcase their pieces at Watercrest Mall for two weeks in November.
FEAST your eyes on the beautifully detailed work by artists from the Highway Art Group at Watercrest Mall from Friday, 9 to Sunday, 18 November.
The members had their artwork judged by three experienced and well-known artists recently.
The submitted pieces varied in colour, themes and design in a wide variety of mediums.

The Highway Art Group has more than 100 members and has grown from strength to strength in the last 50 years.
Paintings can be found on the first floor of the mall and are also on sale. Ten per cent of the proceeds will go to Watercrest Mall’s charity of choice.
The Highway Art Group’s Irma Isbister, said, “The pieces are of a very high standard so come and have a look and support your local art society!”
The society meets bi-monthly at the Westville Methodist Church from 9am till noon and well known artists host informative demonstrations at the meeting. Contact Irma Isbister 082 338 8876.
