Enjoy a magical Halloween at Rhumbelow Theatre

Guests can expect to see extraordinary magic performed by some of the country’s top magicians, as well as some wonderful Halloween-themed set-pieces.

THE South African Magical Society (SAMS) will present Trick & Treat, a magical Halloween-themed family experience at the Rhumbelow Theatre in Durban on 26, 27 and 28 October.

Guests can expect to see extraordinary magic performed by some of the country’s top magicians, as well as some wonderful Halloween-themed set-pieces. The show is suitable for all ages, although parental discretion is advised for young children.

Trick & Treat is directed by Ricki Gray, president of SAMS and one of South Africa’s best-loved illusionists.

SAMS is the oldest magicians’ society in Africa, and one of the oldest in the world. Founded in 1918, the society is celebrating its 100th birthday this year.

The society has members from all walks of life from businessmen and academics to sea captains and artisans.

The venue opens 90 minutes before show for a picnic dinner. Bring picnic baskets, but as a bar is available, no alcohol may be brought onto the premises.

Tickets are R150 each. R130 each for pensioners and students with a valid student card.

Limited secure parking is available. Booking is essential.
