Slip and slide to ‘Oktober’ and lifestyle fest

THE last Pecanwood Oktoberfest Lifestyle Festival is on Saturday, 20 October from 10am at the Pecanwood Farm, in the Midlands.

There will be the usual fun and festivities that the past Pecanwood Oktoberfests have brought, but organisers are also introducing the world’s longest Slip & Slide ride as an attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records together, with a 650-metre Slip & Slide.

Whether you are a sporting enthusiast, beer connoisseur, thrill-seeker, foodie, or just want to enjoy some of South Africa’s top music acts live on stage – there is something for everyone, of all ages to enjoy.

Taste an ale from the vast selection of beers from around the country, or wander down to the Wine and Coffee Tasting tent featuring coffees from around the world.
