ECR and Boomtown build up to Durban July
Top artists that will perform at the Amstel Boomtown are Babes Wodumo, HHP, Shekhinah and Bongo Maffin.
IN the build up to the Vodacom Durban July this weekend, East Coast Radio’s Bongani Mtolo, Deon G and Lubz joined the head of production for the Amstel Boomtown marquee, Nishara Naidoo, and ECR’s general manager, Boni Mchunu, on site.
Marquee construction is well underway at Greyville race course ahead of Saturday. ECR is the exclusive KZN radio partner for Amstel Boomtown, the event’s biggest hospitality marquee.

East Coast Radio’s drive time presenter, Bongani Mtolo, is the MC for the marquee’s star-studded line-up, while the station’s DJs Lubz and Deon G will also be in the mix. Other top artists that will be performing at Amstel Boomtown are Babes Wodumo, HHP, Shekhinah and Bongo Maffin.
